Send me a description and pictures of the area you want to Improve or Repair. I will send you detailed, step by step instructions (complete, and that you can understand) on how to plan for, and do it yourself. For Example: Roof repairs, Drywall repairs, adding a Closet, adding Insulation, Replacing a Window, Etc... - Managing Contractor:
Don't be Intimidated! If you are going to hire a Contractor, you need to be in control. If they are in control, it will cost you money! I will prepare you, and guide you through the process so you aren't taken advantage of. - Does It Need Repaired:
Really? Most Homeowners struggle with this question. Especially if it is a Major, Potentially costly component of the home. Send me pictures of the area of your concern. I will give you a professional opinion as to whether that roof needs replaced (or if it has life left?), those driveway cracks mean you need a new driveway (or just repairs?), the wood windows showing signs of rot need replaced (or can they be effectively repaired?), etc... - Is This Acceptable:
It doesn't seem quite right. Send me information and pictures of work you, or a contractor has done, that you feel is not up to industry standards. I will give you my opinion of the work, and how to correct it if necessary.
